Krista Pärmäkoski won three medals at the Olympics and is still hungry for more.

This week, the 27-year-old Finnish skier started preparing for the 2019 World Championship season, digging into next season’s skis and boots with the Madshus test crew equipment at Sjusjøen (NOR).

“We have tested the next generation of skis and boots here at Sjusjøen this week, and they feel really good. I am really excited to head into the next season on the new Madshus Redline skis,” says Pärmäkoski, who has skied on Madshus equipment since she was a young junior.

Pärmäkoski returned from the 2018 Olympics in South Korea with three medals and was on the World Cup podium seven times this season. Now she’s aiming for more.

“I’m really looking forward to the 2019 World Championships in Seefeld. I think it will be a great season,” she says.

But first, Pärmäkoski will cap off her 2018 season with Skarverennet this weekend, where the start list worthy of a World Cup.
