Ispo 2011: Madshus Progress Continues
Madshus products received record attention at the ISPO trade show in Munich, Germany, last week. The Madshus booth has never been as busy or seen as much traffic as this year. While there was remarkable interest for the entire line of Madshus products in the launch pipeline, Madshus received amazing feedback on the new line of poles, which has been redesigned and refined for the 2011-12 season.
Also worth mentioning: with the launch of the new race performance series of ski boots, Madshus is currently the only manufacturer to offer a complete line of ski boots entirely free of PVC.
Overall, the feedback on the entire product lineup was incredible. 2010 was a record year for Madshus in terms of sales, with many of the most popular products and models sold out early in the season. Based on the buzz about Madshus at the ISPO trade show, 2011 should be another prosperous year for Madshus.
New Madshus Pole Line
The completely redesigned Madshus pole line features the improved grip and security of the Contour Champion and Race Straps, with new 3D-molding and silicone SuperGrip for easier entry and exit and better hold of the hand. For the ultimate in performance, the new Nano Carbon Race 100 UHM pole is 5% stiffer and 58g/m lighter for 2011.
New PVC-Free Race Performance Boots
The new Hyper C, Hyper U, Hyper S, Metis C, and Metis U boots feature a redesigned upper profile for a more flexible, relaxed boot. Built with PVC-Free softshell MemBrainÒ constructions for breathability and water resistance, the Hyper and Metis boots provide competitive skiers with a comfortable, supple, forefoot flex, all in value-oriented race performance boots.
